COMMERCIAL USE LICENCE For One Sewing Pattern - 100 Final Items

OVERVIEW:


The commercial use licence enables small business owners to use Rosie Caldwell patterns to produce items to sell. The licence covers one pattern and has a maximum production of 100 items. You must be making the items on a small scale and they can not be used for industrial/ mass production. You do not need to purchase this licence if you're using the patterns for personal use only. Please read the description carefully. 

 

HOW TO PURCHASE: 
Add this listing to your basket alongside the pattern you intend to use. Purchase the agreement and pattern and leave your business name in the ‘Note to seller’ section. 
If you have previously purchased the pattern leave the order number and pattern name in ‘Note to seller’ at checkout. 
Please note by purchasing you are accepting the full terms of the commercial licence. 

 

COMMERCIAL LICENCE TERMS:

 

1. GRANT OF LICENSE
The Licensor grants the Licensee a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited commercial license to use one sewing pattern.
This license allows the Licensee to:
• Use the pattern to create up to 100 (one hundred) finished products for sale, either online or in-person.
• Use the pattern for personal or small business use only.

 

2. LIMITATIONS
The Licensee may not:
• Share, sell, resell, give away, or distribute the digital pattern file or printed copies.
• Modify and redistribute the pattern as their own.
• Use the pattern for mass production, factory manufacturing, or third-party manufacturing.
• Copy artwork or brand identity.
• Use the pattern in teaching, workshops, or as part of a kit without additional written permission from the Licensor.


This license covers only ONE sewing pattern and ONE Licensee. 
Separate licenses are required for additional patterns or business entities. If a pattern is purchased as part of a bundle, note that a separate licence is required for each pattern within the bundle. 

 

3. COPYRIGHT
The sewing pattern and all related materials remain the intellectual property of the Licensor.
All rights not expressly granted under this Agreement are reserved by the Licensor.

 

4. TERM
This Agreement remains in effect indefinitely, provided that the Licensee complies with its terms.
Any breach of the Agreement automatically terminates the license without refund or notice.

 

5. CREDIT
When selling finished products, credit to the pattern designer is appreciated but not required.
Example: “Made using a pattern by Rosie Caldwell.’’

 

6. LIABILITY
The Licensor shall not be held liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from the use of this pattern or the finished products created from it.

 

7. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The United Kingdom.

 

8. ACCEPTANCE
By purchasing this document, you agree to the terms of this Commercial Use License Agreement.
You must download, read, and keep a copy of this Agreement for your records.
