Haircare Favourites

Haircare is very important to me, and over the years I have tried out so many different products and learnt a lot on the way. I've finally rested upon a few brands that I can really rely on for their quality and performance. Here is a breakdown of my favourite products that are worth investing in:

Styling Products

A very popular styling too, which styles your hair from wet to dry. It took me a while to get the hang of using a few of the different attachments but I love how it leaves my hair feeling. It always feels smooth and tamed. Everything fits into a beautiful tan leather box which fits into the aesthetic of any room.

It is a big investment, but one that I think it well worth the splurge. Saving up, or asking for it as a larger Birthday/ Christmas gift is always a great idea. If you live with someone who also wants one you could split the cost and both use it!

The new and improved Steam Pod is much more lightweight and easy to use. The styler has built in water tank that heats up and uses steam to style your hair which is much less damaging. The large area allows for fast styling, and you can actually create soft waves with this Steam Pod. Again, not cheap but a brilliant hair styler that I reach for a lot.

My classic favourite, the Remington Shine Therapy Straightener! I think this was the first hair straightener I ever purchased and have been re-purchasing ever since! The design has changed a little over the years but this is a fail safe straightener that is also nice and cheap. It's great for curling the hair and it has a good amount of pressure between the plates. One thing I have found with a lot of other straighteners in this price range is that their plates don't fully close. The Remington plates fully press together and leave a nice silky smooth finish.

If you're after a super speedy hairdryer that can dry your hair very fast, look no further than the Babyliss 3Q Hairdryer. It's a little expensive, but I've had it for ages now and has lasted me through sixth form, uni and is still going strong! It's reasonably quiet and has a good amount of heat settings, including a cold setting which I use at the end to add shine.

Shampoo, Conditioner & Hair Masks

My hair type is reasonably dry, thin and frizzy. I don't have a distinct curl to my hair when air dried so always tend to use heat to style. Here are a few products that I switch between for my Shampoo, conditioner and hair mask:

Styling Products

I've only recently been really getting into hair styling products. Before I was just a hairspray and tiny bit of hair oil girl. But now I have a few staple styling products that I reach for. Dry shampoo is one of my recent obsessions, it adds so much texture and volume without weighing the hair down. My favourite is from Living Proof.

Here are a few of my previous videos relating to haircare & styling, with some of the above products in use.
